All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Netherlands. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Signature On Delivery At Me Muscle Nutrition

Overview

At Me Muscle Nutrition, we prioritize your convenience and the security of your purchases. Our partnership with Australia Post Express ensures your orders are handled meticulously. The ‘Signature on Delivery’ feature is automatically enabled upon checkout, offering an added layer of protection for your parcel.

Understanding ‘Signature on Delivery

This service mandates the collection of a signature from someone at the specified delivery address, confirming the receipt of the package. It’s designed to give you the assurance that your order has not just been delivered but received by an authorized individual.

How It Functions

• Upon delivery, a signature from the recipient is necessary.
• In instances where no one is available to sign, a notification method (either a card, text, or email based on your Australia Post account preferences) will inform you of the next steps for collection from a local point, preventing your parcel from being left unsecured.

Pricing

An additional fee of $2.95 applies for the ‘Signature on Delivery’ service, seamlessly included in your final bill during the checkout process.

Opting Out

If you prefer to forgo the ‘Signature on Delivery’ service, you can easily deselect this option during checkout. The corresponding amount will be deducted from your total bill.

Please Note: Opting out of ‘Signature on Delivery’ will default your delivery to standard procedures. This means:

• In your absence, Australia Post personnel hold the discretion to leave the parcel at what is deemed a ‘safe’ location within your premises.
• The determination of a ‘safe’ spot is solely under Australia Post’s judgment.
• Kindly note: Neither Me Muscle Nutrition nor Australia Post will be responsible for parcels potentially stolen after forgoing the “Signature on Delivery” service. This is a primary reason we enable this feature by default for your protection and ours.

Due to these risks, ‘Signature on Delivery’ is recommended and auto selected for our customers’ benefit.

When is a parcel covered by Australia Post’s Extra Cover, and when is it not?

Extra Cover provides compensation for loss or damage of domestic parcels while they are in transit with Australia Post. If your parcel is lost or damaged before it is successfully delivered, you may be eligible for compensation up to the amount of cover purchased.

This cover option is offered at checkout, and the cost will be calculated based on the total value of your order. Signature on delivery is mandatory when Extra Cover is selected to ensure secure delivery.

When Extra Cover applies:

✅ Lost in transit – If your parcel goes missing before it is marked as “delivered” by Australia Post, Extra Cover applies.
✅ Damaged in transit – If your parcel arrives with visible damage or broken contents due to handling in transit, you may be eligible for compensation.
✅ Stolen before delivery – If your parcel is stolen while still in Australia Post’s care, you are covered.

When Extra Cover does NOT apply:

❌ Marked as ‘delivered’ – Once a parcel is marked as delivered to the correct address, Extra Cover no longer applies, even if it is stolen afterward.
❌ Left unattended – If you selected “Authority to Leave” and your parcel is left in a safe place but goes missing, it is not covered.
❌ Delivery to the wrong address – If a parcel is misdelivered and not recovered, a claim may be eligible for review.
❌ Incorrect address provided by the customer – If a parcel is delivered to the incorrect address due to an error in the shipping details entered at checkout and is stolen from that location, Extra Cover does not apply.

Liability Statement

Me Muscle Nutrition takes every step to ensure the safe and prompt delivery of your orders. However, please be aware that upon removing the ‘Signature on Delivery’ safeguard, customers accept all risks associated with potentially unsecured parcels. While every effort is made to provide accurate tracking and secure delivery, Me Muscle Nutrition and Australia Post expressly disclaim responsibility for parcels left unattended due to the waiver of this service.
